Dancing with the Stars Recap: Stars Perform Story Dances

This week on Dancing with the Stars, the couples were faced with a new challenge – tell a story with their dance. Judges wanted to see a storyline throughout the performance and scored them based on how well they told their story and the actual dance.

Taking the lead this week is Olympic skater Evan Lysacek. Despite suffering two broken toes, Lysacek moved smoothly throughout his quickstep. His story was a husband being mad at his wife for being late, but they makeup. Len Goodman got the story and called the performance “bright.” Bruno Tonioli advised Lysacek to work on his footwork. He landed in first place with 26 points.

Tying for second place with 23 points is Nicole Scherzinger and Erin Andrews. Nicole was slammed for not dancing a true quickstep. Carrie Ann Inaba loved the performed.
